Hygienic and Efficient Coupling Solutions: Kest-Lock Snap and Kest-Lock Basic
Kest-Lock's patented design merges the advantages of a traditional Tri-Clamp with an aseptic tank or pipe connection, significantly reducing downtime. An aseptic method for attaching equipment, such as valves, transmitters, hoses, and more, with a Tri-Clamp ferrule, flush to a tank.
The Kest-Lock design contents two parts.
- The ring: snap or basic
- The process connection: vessel, pipe or panel.
Kest-Lock Snap
The Kest-Lock Snap Ring is a time-saving solution for connecting tri-clamp fittings to vessels, piping, or panels. When a tri-clamp is pushed between its rings, the snap ring opens automatically. Once the tri-clamp is in the correct position, the spring in the snap ring closes it securely. Afterward, you can secure and tighten the connection using the ball-joint nut (or wing nut/hexagon nut).
As the snap ring remains in position, the tri-clamp seals can be pre-installed and are held securely in place by the snap ring.

Kest-Lock Basic
A lockable version of the Kest-Lock, the Basic Ring is designed for situations where a secure connection is required, one that cannot be opened without a tool. The spring mechanism is replaced with a double hex socket bolt, allowing the ring to be opened and closed only with the appropriate tool.
This solution retains all the advantages of the compact and easy-to-clean Kest-Lock design while preventing unintentional or easy opening, ensuring added security for critical applications.
Kest-Lock are designed to fit to clamp ferrules according to ISO 2852, ASME BPE and DIN 32 676. Download datasheet for more detailed information.
