Because of their cut edge. Therefore it is advises to put this protective cap, on the ties to avoid spoiliing any other membrane. It also protects the liner from any abravion. The cap in put on the ties after it is put in place as a last step of the containment process. Protective Transit Cap can be used as recharge of high-speed pneumatic Tensioning tool.
